I always stop at Maui Specialty Chocolates store before returning home from Maui. The BEST stuffed mochi— chocolate/peanut butter is my very favorite! Soft and delicious. They are super professional. You can call ahead before heading to the airport and your product will be waiting and ready for you to pickup.
The best mochi! We always get a pack to eat on our first day on the island and place a pre-order to pick up on our way to the airport. So tender and ono!

Mochi:
Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter - 5/5 - So smooth and chewy. The good thing is that the filling is nice and soft. The peanut butter filling also isn't so overpowering thankfully.
Dark Chocolate Ganache Mochi - 5/5 - If I could give a number higher than 5 I would. I haven't been able to find this one anywhere else. I'd get it if you are chocolate lover.

Kona coffee chocolate was ok, but it did not wow me much. I guess mochi is the popular one here but they were sold out when I got here around 4 PM. Get there early!
Family owned shop! I was recommended for their mochi. I came here back in 2022. There was a long line and mochi was sold out with 4 people ahead of me. Tragedy! This week, I was finally able to get a pack of peanut butter mochi. This was the softest mochi I ever had in my life! I don't know how they shape or contain filling inside. Such a magical mochi.
